Total number of titles read for "Memoir" in July

It might be useful to make a note of the total number of reviews as well. I used to notice when the Monthly tag folder was more (or less) active than the "other" folder, but it's harder to keep track of that now.

And agreed! Im sure wpf has made a difference every month this tear with many reading the same books.

We've always kept track of the number of different titles and I don't see any reason to change that. We won't always have a challenge that results in so many people reading the same titles.

Now, there were..."
I enjoy seeing the data, Cindy, and your interpretations. I do think July is a slow month. I see that at my workplace as well. I do invoicing every month, and I think July is the hardest time to collect! In August, it's remarkable how many people pay on time compared to July . . .

Good point... but it only takes a second to note here the number of reviews (well, I'll note the number of threads, most likely, minus one for the announcement) posted, as well. I'm happy to do it, since it will be quick and easy - as long as I remember! :-)

Obviously I'm just guessing, but I'm always interested to see if other people have ideas, too.
And LOL! on the difference between July and August for invoice payments!

Now, there were a lot of people who read the same book, so that's not included in this number, as each book/title is only counted once.
I also wonder if the lower number might be because - summer? Are people reading less?
Last year, both July and December had 87 and 85 individual titles read each, so maybe summer/Christmas as busier times?
I also wanted to do a comparison to other similar tags we've read:
Autobiography (March 2018) - 75 titles read
Biography-Memoir (July 2016) - 81 titles read
So, the biography-memoir one was also in July.
