Liralen | 8223 comments Would it be possible to retitle the 'Adding New Books' folder something like 'Adding New Books & Editions'? Again in the spirit of streamlining things...

If this is something that is not the purview of the mods but of Support, please let me know and I'll wing it their way.

The actions needed for both are largely the same. Now some people post new edition requests in Adding New Books, while other post in Book Issues.

(And still others post in Language & Translation Issues, which actually is not a bad idea for some books best handled by speakers of the language instead of running the risk of being snowed under or skipped in the other folders.)

Done.

Liralen | 8223 comments Thanks, Rivka.

This pinned thread might need edits as well, if the goal is (as I hope!) to direct more new-edition requests to that folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

New edition requests can be posted in both the Book Issues folder and the Adding New Books & Editions folder.

Liralen | 8223 comments Ah! Sorry, I had misread that post—I was reading the line If the edition needing moving or other edits already exists on Goodreads, please post in Book Issues instead to mean If...other editions already exist on Goodreads... etc. etc. and I thought it might be an outdated (and typo'd; sorry, I spend work and personal life thinking about words and apparently see typos even when they don't exist) policy.
