How do you organize your bookshelf?

i put books by the same authors together - & i put different genres together like romance, mystery, ect…

guilty confession: I have no organization method for my shelves.. I used to do it by alphabetical but now I kinda just put things where I think they look the nicest lol

I keep the same authors together but other than that I keep them where I think they look the prettiest/ nicest

I do mine by colors, red at the top and then black and white and stuff at the bottom. I also have Star Wars character figures as well 😂 one thing that does bug me about this way of organizing is that i have to separate series but yea :)

I also do authors + genre! I collect TPBs and manga too so it's easier that way 😆

use to have it organized by color cause i loved the way it looked but now i have my tbr on one bookshelf & my read books on the other

I organize mine by height then separate them from the to already read. But I might change it up to a color scheme🤭

Currently, mine is arranged alphabetically by author then by title, but I'm thinking about doing it by color. Prior to alphabetically, it was arranged by height, but that felt...wrong, lol.

mines organised in genres, then in colour order so black, white, yellow etc, then alphabetically by author + finally alphabetically by title (sounds complicated I know but it works for me haha)
