I just re-read the rules regarding the letters, which can be used for the spell-it-out

For boks >500 we can use 12 letters. But if we are only allowed to use the first letter of
First and last name author and MCs
First letter in title
First letter in series

We are only allowed to use 8 letters. Where do we get the other 4 from

And if it is a stand-alone with >300 pg there is also one letter missing

Or did I misunderstand the rules?

It's named characters--somewhere in the Q&A threads, if the character is significant enough to have dialogue, it can be used. That is my understanding, at least.

Claudia I know that feeling well, but I'll just say I have not felt that way from you at all! I know I'm not doing the heavy lifting with the tracking stuff (thank you again Janeylou for it all!), but you definitely have been extremely helpful. We're all just muddling our way through still. Hopefully in the future we find a challenge for all of us to do together which is a little more carefree and fun. :)

When i was doing SS i was planning meals in my head and had to gonback and put some meat/ fish in it as i was just thinking what i would eat 😄

I must admit to being a massive fan of pretent meat , i havent eaten it since i was 8 yrs and unless theres nothing much on offer at restaurants / when out , i tend not to eat it much ..now my sister who gave up meat a few years ago , eats a lot of it

Ive found vinegar in my vampire book , so changing it to a Scavenger one and reading 2 shorts from Amandas list , so got a total of 5 .
Do you think well need more that 5 fish/chips/vinegar?

I just have a lot of U's downloaded but I don't have to read them if they are filled. I have 6 I borrowed from the library (and 5 I own) so can cover all of them if that one you read also has other good food items, but a couple are rereads so I can also pass it up no problem.

Basically, as always, I can go whichever way we want

I have a trout in Strike a Pose, which I wanted to.use as scavenger anyway as it has the perfect ingredients for a salad.

There's enough food as well as coffee and tea to make a tuna quiche and add tuna elsewhere are needed (I have 3) in Archangel Asassin.

I would really like to use Archangel's Assassin as a scavenger hunt book. It has Legos, and I can make a tuna quiche with what's left over from that and/or a special. Is that okay? I know you don't want us to add, but I think this would be good for points.

ive started adding meals to main shop front , so if anyone wants to start adding descriptions , feel free. We didnt get any recommendations from mods for our meals last month ( which surprised me tbh as i thought some sounded really nice ) thing they after more inventive descriptions , but we havet got time for that so just go with the basics .
With the spell.out meals the description will need to i clude that 1 item spelled out but anything else can be added .

Unless it's got a U, E, or I name/title, I am only doing 300+ page books. I'm definitely not saying everyone should do that, and it works partly because I'm doing 2 other challenges (hogwarts and plague) that are page based.

Im using 161-300 pg books as well , ill leave the less than 160 to the end and see if we need them

these are ingredients we can use , do you want to do spell or SH or a mix

Chicken nuggets and waffle fries (chicken, bread or bread crumbs, salt, egg, flour, potato, oil
Must contain chicken, potato and oil.

It means if we find 2 or even 5 lots of balloons we can use all of them , wether in same book or different ..same with other activities
