At first I thought he was going to end up being a big problem. He seemed like the kind who would run to the authorities about the guys posing as relief workers. But then he ended up helping them when Murphy was injured and he seemed like he was willing to help them with their mission. In turn, they had to rescue him to get him out of the country.
I agree Robin. I worried about Will. In fact, I was waiting for him to betray the team. I was surprised when he helped them.
I was also concerned at first that he would betray the team out of a petty need for revenge, but he ended up helping them. It was unfortunate that his actions unwittingly led to Bashir finding them, but that could have happened to any of them.I felt bad for him over his selfish and unfaithful wife. No one deserves that kind of treatment by someone they love.
Will was a big question mark for me throughout the story. In the end, he chose to be part of the solution, even though some of it was mercenary. Kudos to Tess for remembering he needed to be extracted.
Will was a question mark to me too. If he had turned them in, he would have gotten revenge on Nash. Very short sighted in the view that they could give him information no other reporter had access to. Tess was very smart to play on that angle. I think deep down, he knew they were there for to greater good of the US and a part of him wanted to help them succeed.
