Whats everyone’s struggle when reading a book??

Mines definitely distractions! I have to read in a quiet place by myself. It’s hard to read with people talking around me.

I get distracted easily too unless it's a good book. Sometimes, I struggle with the writing style of some authors and it is hard to maintain my interest.

i go from reading three hours a day for a week and then stopping for like a month

I get distracted very easily so that, when just starting a book and/or when an unnecessary scene is there and it's not interesting

I can't read if there is a lot of chatter around me. I have a hard time focusing on the words I am reading when I hear people talking.

When people are chatting while I read. Or when I hear music or tv while I read. I can’t concentrate well and I can’t do an image of what I am reading.

When its a lot of worldbuilding and really long chapthers like in The Secret History (Still loved that book tho somehow)

I become disinterested when dialogue and descriptions appear to have been written with the sole purpose of increasing the word count.

it's really hard for me to start a new book when i get too attached to the one i've just finished
