I have a question. There is an edition i want to be added. The original edition is a one book edition but mine is an edition divided by publisher into 2 books like vol 1 and vol 2 with separete unique isbns for each book. So my question is is there any way for this books to be added so i can add them to my bookshelves at the same time and not switch between them. For example if they will be added both as (series name #1) i can add only one book of the two to my bookshelf. If they will be added as (series name #1a) and (series name #1b) i will add both of them. So how will librarian add them to the database?

Renske | 12223 comments Split editions shouldn't be combined with the whole book or the other half.
If a book is part of a series the split edition can indeed be added as 1A and 1B to the series page.
If the book is a stand alone, a series page can be created for the split parts, but the complete work shouldn't be added to that series.

General information, if books are combined you still can add multiple editions to your shelves. Go to the other edition and at the 'my activity' is an option 'review [format]' which will add that edition to your shelves

Start a new thread under "adding new books" and provide all the details, including a link to the existing record if this is to be a new edition of something that is already here.

Boris Skorodumov (mrunforgiven) | 153 comments Another question about adding books. There is this site in my country https://author.today where independent authors publish their books. Majority of this authors dont have personal sites, so this site is the only source where someone can find and purchase their books directly from authors. Can i use this site as correct source for book info and bookcovers when requesting to add ebooks? And if not what to do in that case?

Unfortunately, that is not a site we can use.
