Darci Day | 176 comments 16-year-old Frank Abagnale reinvents himself as an airline pilot, pediatrician, and more, always staying one step ahead of the law. The con man and check fraudster leads feds on a chase for several years.

This book was a quick, fun read, as long as you don't take it too seriously. It's obvious 90% of it is embellished or flat out untrue, but Abagnale and his ghost writer tell a good story.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11060 comments I liked this book and loved the movie. It had a lot of heart, and it was nice that it led to a legitimate career for Frank. He was so young! He must have been really charming and a great actor to pull it off.

I looked at my old review and was reminded that Anita heard him speak and said he was Beyond Entertaining.

Joy D | 10069 comments It's marketed as non-fiction, but clearly a lot is made up, so that was a problem for me. I'd be fine with it as a "fun" read if it did not claim to be true.
