I agree. I bought all of the audiobooks for the Kingdom of the White Sea series. I started the first one and it was amazing but I didn't end up finishing. There is a lot of world-building and I need to have a clear mind to absorb it all. I hope to finish that series soon.

This is my only Cradit book I've read, I'm 48% in now and there's something about it I'm loving! Hoping to finish today.

Finished! (view spoiler)[Well hot dang this book was great! I loved that ending, I loved the Epilogue, I can't wait to see what stories we get next in the series! I'm glad they're companion novels, as I didn't know that going in, so I won't need to re-read this one again before going into the next!

I'm still a little bit lost as to how they got Sesstin and Castien to back down so easily, why they didn't just tell someone what they'd done. How could everyone believe their use of dark magic so easily without proof? (hide spoiler)]

The first chapter was awesome. So much happened in that one chapter and it set up so much.

Did Rhiain really think that it was the best idea to run off with Tyr into his bedroom with all of those eyes on them? And even more so, why did Tyr even entertain the idea? I am honestly not shocked at the lengths Mathias went to get revenge for what happened with Rhiain. It is so sad though. It makes me wonder if Tyr will be mad at Rhiain or her father for the death of his family. Or maybe at himself? (hide spoiler)]
