Nike | 265 comments I'm a bit disappointed with "Mrs Dalloway". I liked the beautiful language, I appreciate - and understand it was new and radical for the time - the inner dialoluges But ... how utterly Boring aren't the characters! I'm very surprised. The only person interesting to follow is the man with the mental illness. The governess could have been interesting to follow if her character had gotten any more space. Mrs Dalloway herself is the most boring character of them all. Maybe it was meant to be a satirical description of the upper and middle classes but that doesn't help. What do you think?
