Hey quick question, no one has been joining team Jasmine so wouldn’t it be easier to make the challenge a 3 team instead of 4 teams? I don’t mind the challenge remaining 4 teams like always it was just a thought 🤷🏻♀️

😂 I personally find it so funny how Americans bond so much over a bunch of buff dudes in funny outfits running at each other like they're at war or something 😆
Based on the turnout from the last challenge, 3 teams might mean a lot of people per team (compared to previous challenges, at least). I know that some people were inactive, but I think keep the 4th team for now. If there aren't many people on the 4th team by the time the challenge starts, I think it would be OK if we get rid of the 4th team and reassign the people accordingly, if that's not too much trouble. Thoughts?

Yes, the photo's done- it just has the name of the challenge & the dates (2/18/24-3/24/24). I also updated the doc to those dates too. Yeah XD

Sounds good! I think that's a good idea. Maybe instead of posting a comment, you can create a new thread and put the link to the thread in the signups thread? That way people don't have to scroll down a lot to find all the info. What do you think?

Sorry wait, before you post, I have a question! Only pages that are read during the challenge count for points, right? I'm a little confused about the rule, "We will let you log books one day before the challenge starts"...since I thought only pages read during the challenge count for points, the doc doesn't have that rule.

Yeah I was confused about that too but that’s what V told Firestorm I think? I was under the impression that yes you can start a book before the challenge starts but you have to finish at least the day of the challenge but subtract the pages not read within the challenge days.

Sorry guys have been busy and just read all the messages. I was letting people log books one day before the challenge started. I had people asking how soon they could log books and I said you can log books that you started one day before the challenge.

It’s okay V :) and do you mean that people can start a book before the challenge but as long as they finish the book within the challenge it counts? Or that they can finish the book a day before the challenge begin and it will still count? Sorry that’s what I’m confused about.

Yeah no worries V about being busy! Thanks for taking the time to clear that up. If people can start a book one day before the challenge, should we just move the challenge start date to one day before the challenge (Feb 17th)? I believe that everywhere the dates are posted (team chats & signups thread) need to be updated anyway, since we moved the challenge end date to March 24th.

I say we leave it as February 18-March 24 so that way you don’t have to edit the photo yet again but I also don’t mind if we change it.
I already changed the dates in the Snowdrop chat but yes I agree that the dates need to be changed everywhere too.
