It needed to be done since the challenge is still going on we need someone who is going to be reliable and log points for the team. We understand people get on at different times and life outside Goodreads but it was made clear that if you are going to be a team captain in the first post that you have to be active and log points.

For the reading challenge, I think we could create it together. Will it be like Christmas/new year’s themed or what are we thinking?

Great! Last year's challenge was holiday themed, and I thought that this year we could also include some prompts that encourage people to complete/surpass their reading challenge. So for example:

- Complete your 2023 reading challenge! (+5)
- For every extra book you read, +2 (if you've already read more books than your reading challenge, only count the extra books you read during the challenge)

And if we want to have the challenge last into the New Year, people can earn points based on how many books they set their reading goal as.

We can also include winter/Christmas/New Year/holiday themed prompts! Those are just a couple of ideas.

Okay ladies..... I'm so sorry for not getting back I have been reading and trying to give ladies time to respond back.

Since I am not getting answers I say we all try and plan ideas for a new challenge happening in January. I know Amaya wanted Red Queen on the list for December but since I have gotten back late do we just want to wait and make that January's BOTM Suggestions?

I think since we’re already in mid December if we made a BOTM for December it wouldn’t give many a chance to get the book and then read it, I vote that we just start suggesting books for the January BOTM. What does everyone think?
