I feel bad Firestorm is dropping out ladies. I told her I would talk to you guys first but I don’t mind being on two teams but it’s not fair to her. What do you guys think?
If you think you can log your books both with Lilly and with Firestorm then sure you can team up with both :)
Ladies I was thinking of like a Hangman game to where people can create words, sentences, or something- it could be any word it doesn't have to stick with books but of course it has to be appropriate, and no politics, no slang words, etc.
What are we thinking about this idea? Could be another way to keep active.

Sounds like a great idea! And then maybe instead of drawing the person, the member hosting can just comment "head drawn" or "one leg drawn."
Hey ladies!!! I think once this book bingo is over.... we need to do something like this again.... I am really enjoying this but I feel like next time we could really dig into this and make a good bingo board....
Yes, Mackenzie's book bingo idea is great, and it would be awesome to have another one!
Also, I was wondering what was happening to all of our members- in the last few months, we've gone from 1,200+ to less than 1,000 now :(

Catherine I agree! Another book bingo would be nice and I am trying to keep the group active as I can but I don’t know what to say about us losing members. I am sad but if people leave then they leave. We can’t force people to stay. Remember it’s not about how many members we have it’s about keeping the group active.
Just my thought.
Just my thought.
And I’m gonna put my thought out there right now because I’ve seen it with my own eyes, who wants to be in a group where nobody talks about books with other people, people post hey does anybody want a buddy this nobody comments, it’s like out of those 1200 members Were lucky if maybe 20 people were lucky. Now to me that is pretty sad and I understand that people are active at different times of the day, but that’s pretty sad. It’s like nobody’s communicating. We have games to keep people active and nobody’s commenting.
At the end of the day, like I said before it’s not about how many members the group has or how many people we can get in the group it’s about being active in people joining in discussions and making it fun for people to want to stay. Does that make sense?

Yup, I agree! I'm just surprised to see so many members leave in such a short period of time; I haven't seen anything like that happen even when the group was less active than it is now.

I will try and invite people that are active but the only thing I can suggest is from now on set the group settings to private so whoever does join it has to be approved by a mod. I can be in charge of this if you want but I mean we can't force people to stay and if people leave then what are we suppose to do.

I read your message and I had to look myself to. Hopefully we can make that back and we will be good to go again.
I would rather have the group active and alive again rather than just have a bunch of people in the group and the group not be active.
For sure about not being able to force people to stay. I don't think that it's necessary at all to make the group private, and I would like to keep it public :)
I’ve also really been loving the Book bingo board!! It’s been so much fun and I would love to keep doing it.
I also had a great time creating the bingo board, so I can keep creating them in the future if you guys are okay with that. We would just all have to pitch in some new prompt ideas :)
It is a little sad to see not everyone be so active in the group but I honestly don’t know what else we could do aside from the reading challenges, Mackenzie’s board game challenge and the book bingo board 🤷🏻♀️
