Is there any thing that you guys wanna be in charge of? I know I’ve got book of the month so I did have an idea. Let me know what you guys think of it. You know how Catherine did the hunger games elimination game, what if we Did that with other books as well? It can be standalone books it can be series. I don’t know. I’m just trying to think of more fun games that people can participate in.

I think it would be fun to do the elimination game with other book series as well.

I also saw Jen’s idea for book bingo and that sounds like so much fun! If we could all pitch in some prompt ideas for the bingo I could create the bingo board and post it if you guys want.

Also for the next reading challenge, I think the fall/halloween theme sounds great. Let me know if you need any help with it V :)

I am thinking we give everyone a break on challenges and we could do that Book Bingo just to keep people active and then in September we could do a fall/Halloween theme reading challenge.

when I added prompts to the board game, I just looked up some prompts online. but we could add a certain theme to the bingo like

starting school
fall
summer
genre
page length

like doing a themed type of bingo

I am fine with mixing the prompts up. Like you said MacKenzie doing random prompts that will give more options to people. Like for example

RAB that is over 400 pages.
RAB that deals with going back to school.
RAB that deals with summer activities. etc

Yeah I added those so when people get on the desktop version they know who the mods are and can see that under the member's tab as well.

What rules should we do for the bingo? Do we make it competitive like whoever completes the first bingo wins, or whoever completes 2-3 bingos first wins, or whoever completes the whole bingo board first wins? Or do we make it non competitive and just everyone individually play until you complete a bingo?

Ladies this is for September's BOTM. do you guys want me to wait and create it on those days which would allow everyone 5 days to grab copies or I can create it today and announce the winners on the 21st and that would allow everyone 10 days to grab copies.

I know sometimes book are on hold and it may take a minute so I am fine with either let me know what you guys think?

I would say either whoever gets the first 2 to 3 bingos OR whoever completes the whole bingo card first wins. And I was confused are we doing individual bingos, partner bingos, or team bingos?

Hey don’t you normally post the poll on the 21st and then announce the winners on the 22-23rd? But either way I’m good with either doing it now or waiting a couple more days :)

I originally thought Bingo was more an individual game but I did see some asking if it would be teams so I don’t know anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️ what do you think would be best? I think if we do it individual then it might be best to do 2 bingos win. If we do partner bingo, two people working together then maybe do 3 bingos win. And if we do teams then whichever team completes the board first wins. What do you think?

I am good doing individual or teams! I think it would be more of a challenge if we did individual and made it to where either they have to get 2 or 3 bingos to win.

I also think it would be fun to do 2 people teams and whoever completes the WHOLE bingo card gets to choose a BOTM to add but also if we do teams, we will allow the top 2 partner teams to add 1 book. Does that make sense?

So if I am on a team with you Ana, and Mackenzie Ans Susie are on a team, let’s just say those 2 partner teams won- we would choose 1 book Ans MacKenzies team would choose 1 book.

I think the fair way we should do this if we are doing a 2 person team is 1 fast reader and 1 slow reader OR try to pair people with the same reading speed. or we can do a first come first serve and just assign people with teams.
