🎯 HOW TO PLAY

Roll the Dice
On your turn, roll the dice and move forward the number of spaces.

Follow the Space Prompt

Examples:

"Read a book with a blue cover"

"Read a book that’s been on your TBR for over a year"

"Read a book under 300 pages"

If it's a Challenge Space, follow the action (Follow the arrow).

If it’s a Free Space, choose any book from your TBR.

Read the Book!
You have to finish the book to complete the space. Once completed, mark it off and take your next turn.

Skipping or Swapping

If you absolutely don’t want to read the prompt’s book, you may:

Swap once during the whole game (use sparingly!)



example on how to log your own points:

tart -> Rolled a 1- read 100 pages Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead

Rolled a 5 -> A beautiful (To you) cover Watch Me (Shatter Me The New Republic, #1) by Tahereh Mafi

Rolled a 3 -> Jump ahead -> RAB that is between 324-449 pages

Hello ladies! I just wanted to clear this by you all, Lilly who is on team Bali Indonesia is going to be inactive July 28th, through August 1st because her mom is having a very serious surgery and I told her that she is excused from the 48 hour book logging rule since she is not going to be able to log books. She said she might be able to log them but she will be busy spending time with her family so this is her free token.

Hey V I think some people are having issues with the rule of logging books in less than 48 hours after finishing them, do you think we could eliminate that rule so that they can log all of the books that they read during the challenge? If it’s already too late for this challenge maybe not include it in future challenges?

I won’t add it to the next challenge but I think there should be a time limit for logging books because my opinion it doesn’t seem fair they people wait today’s after to log the book or wait till the very end of the challenges to log.

So ladies..... what do you guys think about this idea... For reading challenges... The teams will get to choose 1 book that EVERYONE agrees on to add to the BOTM. But only the winning team, their book will automatically go on the seconded list. The other teams will go on the suggested list and if it's seconded then it will go on the list.

Just trying to make rewards for teams more exciting and actually have a prize to get everyone excited for. Now if nobody responds with books or ideas for challenges then other input from teams will be allowed....

I agree that prizes make the challenges more fun- thank you for brainstorming ideas!

Since group members can already suggest books for the BOTM individually, then I don't think that it is needed for the non-winning teams to all agree on a book to add to the suggested list.

But I really like the idea that the winning team's book automatically goes to the seconded list! To make it even more rewarding, we could have the winning team's book automatically be the BOTM. What do you think?

Girl listen…. I have told a lot of people this because it’s the truth. I hate saying this Ans I love my book community friends but the truth is…… Real life comes first. We will miss you of course but whatever reason it is that you are not going to be active, you have to do what’s best for you. <\b>

There is no reason to feel bad for needing a break, we all need breaks and you did the right thing by letting the rest of us know and being honest with us. No need to feel bad we will handle the group, you focus on real life and if you can check in every now and then great, if not….. NO BIG DEAL. We will miss you again. My inbox is open if you need to talk, and I will take care of the group!
