Okay ladies... Do we have any ideas on how we can bring this group back to life? I am not going to lie, the inactivity is killing me here and I don't want to remove people but how do we go about this? I know life gets in the way but I just feel like no one comments anymore.

I miss when the group used to be active and we had people commenting....

Makes sense- I do too. Personally, I don't think that removing members will do much to make the group more active, especially considering the tediousness and time it takes to do that.

Instead, we could create new games or interesting polls, like I've seen some groups do. Hosting a special challenge that's different from challenges we've done in the past (in regards to the theme, different types of prompts, format, partners instead of four teams), could also be a good place to start.

I know that those ideas are somewhat vague; due to life, I haven't given a ton of thought to specifics, but I'll let y'all know if I think of anything else :) What do you think?

There's something called elimination games I've seen in other groups that are fun. Basically, you have a list of 15-20 characters from a famous book/book series/universe. Each character starts with 20 points, and each time someone posts, they can deduct two points from one character they don't like and add two points to another character they do like. Eventually, characters are eliminated until there are just three top characters.

V, thank you so much for the challenge!! It would be great if you could host both teams, but if you're too busy, I can host a team or we can just have 3 teams this challenge.

I was also wondering if you could add a one time bonus of 5 points if a participant's birthday is in June, July, or August, just to keep it consistent with other challenges. Thanks again!

I have a really bad runny nose and sneezing when I go outside so I have to take a Benadryl just to keep my nasal passage clear so I can breath out my nose......

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I hope you all are having a great week. I know i haven't been as involved here lately, but I would like to try and provide some ideas now!

July will mark that we are halfway through the year, and I thought it would be cool to do some quarterly challenges (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec) and we do different things like roll the dice board game (where the player has to roll a die and the move to a space on the board, then that's the prompt for the book they have to follow) or Genre, trope, title bingo. It would be a fun way to get involved.
