I'm doing well! I've been pretty unsuccessfully at gardening all my life, but I planted some flowers and they're just sprouting! Hopefully they don't die😂
How are you?

Hey, I was thinking of archiving the readalong threads and folder, minus the one for New Moon (we could move the thread for New Moon into the buddy read folder). The concept of a readalong is really similar to buddy reads, and if a lot of people want to read the same book, they still can in the buddy read folder. OK with y'all?

I would be fine with that. I think we could just but buddy reads and group reads together in one folder. And I agree it really is the same thing just more people in a group read.

also we are 6 wins, 4 loses, and 2 ties into the season. not counting that tournament we won! we have 2 more games and then 1 more tournament, then the season is over!
@Mackenzie Wow! How did the season go? (or has it not finished yet?) Congratulations on your hard work either way!!
@catherine it’s been a while since we have commented and I haven’t been on here for a while either so your not alone!
samee!! and the season is over thank goodness because its getting cold here! how have you all been?
Hello ladies!! How are you all doing? I was just letting you ladies know that the thread for November's BOTM is made which is One of Us Is Lying took the vote on that and then November's fun read is The Summer I Turned Pretty. I can't wait to see what you ladies think about it!! Have any predictions on those books?
I've seen the show to TSITP and loved it!! not gonna lie I loved Jere, but I heard he's not the best in book 3. I heard One of us is lying is really good so hopefully it is!
@mackenzie that’s the first time I have heard of One of us is lying and TSIP has been on my to be read list for a while so I need to get it read!

Yes I saw! Actually, I think One of Us Is Lying was spoiled for me a while back, but thankfully I can't remember the spoiler. And I heard that the Summer I Turned Pretty is good, but I haven't read it either:)

Yes I was going to type a message in the Mods chat but got side tracked on the farm and never got to it but I think if we do have a fun reading challenge then we should have cool team names and a reasonable goal.
I had an extra bit of time today, so I came up with some ideas for our next challenge (Holiday Challenge?). Here are the prompts so far:
"Book prompts~ 10 points each~
- RAB that has a motif about gratitude, giving, thankfulness, or hope
- RAB where the character celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s, or any other winter holiday
- RAB where the main character starts something new (moves, starts a new hobby or activity, etc.)
Book prompts ~8 points each~
- RAB that takes place in December or January
- RAB where it snows in the book
- RAB that starts with any letter in DECEMBER
- RAB that starts with any letter in JANUARY
Fun prompts ~5 points each~
- If it snows where you are…
-Make a snowman!
- Make a snow angel!
- Have a snowball fight!
- Go sledding, skiing, snowboarding, or another fun winter sport!
- Enjoy some hot chocolate or another warm drink
- Wear as many layers as you can (1 layer= 1 point; for example, if I wear 5 layers, I get 5 points)
- Bake cookies or another treat (don't forget to share some with others ;))!
Bonus: Extra 5 points if your birthday is in December or January!! :))"
Let me know what you think. I'm thinking of posting the sign-ups now and then adding to the prompts as we go. I'd post the same rules and guidelines that were in previous challenges.
