Hey y'all! Just got the poll invites, thank you for doing that! I don't know what's completely going on (I know I missed a lot of messages and I'll read them when I can), but if there are the same books on both polls (I'm not sure if there are, I didn't check), then what if the same book wins?

It might be better if we just have 1 poll, and the top 2 winners become the BOTM. That way we know that BOTM #2 is some people's first book choice. If that doesn't make sense, let me know! I'm completely aware it may seem like I'm speaking gibberish 🤪

If the books are the same on both polls, then we’re also doing the extra votes, which also helps which will be calculated at the end of the votes but if it is the same, then whatever book is the second winner. I just feel like if we do one book of the month it’s not fair because all these books keep getting mentioned like from blood and Ash, shadow and bone It’s all fantasy that I see that’s winning. It’s not anything else and to me that’s unfair because it’s always fantasy.

I think mod reads are a great idea, but I don't think I'll be able to participate, at least for now. I can't find enough time to read on my own, and if I do read, it's in spurts- I'll read one weekend for a few hours and then not read for maybe weeks. I think it would be very hard to buddy read with me XD

As for points, I think it's a good idea to earn points for challenges no matter what moderator read one decides to join:)

I don’t think it would be a bad idea to go ahead and post it now that way we can get people on teams get everything sorted out get the teams fair and I don’t think there’s any thing else that we needed to add. I thought we all talked about That.

Hey guys when are we going to announce that in April some of the mods might start to do Mod pick reads? And do we add the point option to this upcoming challenge? And if yes, how many points will it be?

I can announce that and I think it should be 10 points if they finish the mod pick. Now if they start and do not finish it then they won’t be allowed to count points.

lol true I just thought about that. So we could do if there is a reading challenge going on at the time then it can go for 10 points if there’s not a Reading challenge going on, then it can just be like a little Bible study read.

Hey I think that 10 points is a lot for the moderator read; 5 points might be more reasonable, since the buddy read & the BOTM are worth 5 points too. If y'all feel strongly about it then I'm fine with it, though :)

Hey ladies! I just wanted to ask you guys if your notifications have been a little delayed. I have checked some discussions and I have got no notification that people have commented. My notifications are turned on so I don't' know if it's just my Goodreads doing that or if you guys have had this issue.

@V That's weird! I don't have my notifications on, so I'm not sure...I do know that there have been plenty of problems with my notifications in the past, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if yours and other people's are acting up. I hope it resolves itself soon!

Hello ladies! Is is just my OCD lately kicking or is anyone with me...

So I know Catherine wants to keep the achieved threads which is not a problem but I don't see the point in keeping them if they are just going to sit there. (NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE OR MEAN.) I feel like it's unnecessary and alot of scrolling has to be done with 40 something threads just sitting there. Can we start deleting some of those or still want to keep?
