Juarez executed his plan once he learned Hestia’s new identity when Siobhan went to her graduation. Why didn’t she let Kane know the Hestia had contacted her and of her plans to see her? How do you think he would have reacted?

Kane would have told Siobhan that she shouldn't go to the graduation. He knew that Juarez was most likely having them watched and would take advantage of any contact with Hestia. Siobhan knew she shouldn't go to the graduation, so she didn't tell Kane.

I agree with Robin. This was a bad move on Siobhan's part. Sadly, Siobhan knew it was a bad decision or she would have told Kane.

Usually if you keep something secret from your partner, you know, deep down, it’s a bad idea. Shame on Siobhan and kudos to Kane for forgiving her so easily. Let’s hope she’s really willing to just deal with any opposition from him in the future.

Siobhan is impulsive and generally does whatever she wants without thinking through the possible consequences. She was probably thrilled that Hestia contacted her and she wanted to go see how she turned out. Bad choice, but after nine years who would have thought it would be a threat. It could have been anyone's graduation. I really wanted to know how Juarez got his information.

How much younger is she than Kane?
Siobhan is idealistic, which certainly doesn't describe Kane.

There will need to be adjustments in the marriage, methinks, even though they have been living together for some while.

I think she is at least 10 years younger than Kane.

Why do you think she’s that much older? Kane’s the oldest of the Rogan siblings, which puts him close to forty.

I thought the story said he was 48, and that she had a crush on him when she was a girl????

I thought he was 45. I'm not sure how old Shioban is, but she is much younger.

I was looking at Kane and Siobhan's history.

Kane joined the Marines after high school. (18) He was in the Marines for 6 years (24) then left to start Rogan Caruso with JT. It was a few years later that Andie contacted him to rescue Siobhan. Which was 8 years ago. Which would make him about 32.

Siobhan first met Kane when she was "barely a teen." I'm guessing 13 or 14. Eight years ago when Kane rescued Siobhan he notice that she was a woman. I'm guessing that she was 21 or 22. I'm voting for a ten year age difference.

Kane can't be 32. That's how old Sean is. I agree with the ten-year estimated age difference. I know authors fudge ages all the time, so I really don't much see the point to this debate.

Anita, I wasn't debating. You're right he can't be 32. I went back and looked over my notes. I guess I missed something along the way. Probably the amount of time after he started Rogan Caruso.

I think Kane and Duke are close in age. When the parents died, Duke left the military to take care of Sean.
