As voted by the people! This is action/adventure and I think a bit of mystery so it should be fun! Looking forward to reading it because I know it's a popular one...

I read this book when it first came out and I really liked it. See my Goodreads review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'll never forget talking it about it with my classes when one of my advanced readers telling me I was pronouncing Lemoncello wrong.

Aah that must've been so awkward! I'm always pronouncing things wrong lol
Wait so how is it pronounced? Lemon-sell-o or lemon-cello? I've been saying it the latter way in my head.

It's not really even been on my radar until now. I always lump it in with Mysterious Benedict Society because they both have really long titles and have that mystery game vibe to it.
Are you planning on reading this one with us? I'm hoping I can fit it in.

I thought so! I studied Italian for 2 years and whilst I know next to nothing about it now, I still remember that "c" next to an "e" makes a "ch" sound. Though if it was really Italian it would be limoncello not lemoncello but it's still interesting to see.

Correct - It was embarrassing to be corrected by a student, but I never forgot how to pronounce it. I did my best to take it in stride.

Yes I am! If I can get a copy

Eden I was wondering the same thing. I haven’t read it but I feel like it would fit into tasks 13, 20 (if you read it as an audiobook), 26, and 70 maybe. The rest is hard to tell because you’d have to read the book to know.
This is the only cross-team discussion we will have😂 but if we’re all reading the same book we might as well discuss it! I’ve got one other book to read for the challenge and then I’ll be starting this so probably sometime next week...
Awesome! I’ll join in as soon as I finish my current read which shouldn’t be more than a few days. Feel free to share your thoughts in the meantime if you want and we can discuss later!

Does that mean it fits more tasks than the initial ones I mentioned? For me it fits task 28 so I was just thinking of putting it there.
I was supposed to start reading this after I finish my current read but I’m really bored and my current read is dragging so much so I’m going to start this now because I’m hearing good things from you guys about it!

So I’ve finally started this one! 1 chapter in and I already have questions:
- How is this: “FIND TWO COINS FROM 1982 THAT ADD UP TO THIRTY CENTS AND ONE OF THEM CANNOT BE A NICKEL.” a riddle? That’s just an instruction lol
- Is 50 cents docked from pocket money a lot? I think of 50 cents as a rapper... I’m kidding😂 I think of 50 cents like 50 pence in England which isn’t a lot but there’s always cheap sweets and junk that kids can buy with that so is it also like that in America?
My point is that it seems like a light punishment.
On to chapter 2...

Aha so I’m not the only one! I only got 15% through and now August is basically over I’m probably going to DNF it. Oh well, I gave it a try!
