Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments Great! I made our buddy read thread for Three Little Words: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... Looking forward to starting it Tuesday!

message 108: by Amphitrite (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) Awesome! I look forward to it!

message 109: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2535 comments Hi everyone! It's been a little quiet here recently.

What are we all reading at the moment? :)

I've been ridiculously busy this week so I haven't read as much as I'd like but that's life I guess. Hoping to get a few books read this weekend though, fingers crossed! :)

message 110: by Amphitrite (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) I'm currently reading One Great Year by Tamara Veitch and plan on starting Pretty Crooked (Pretty Crooked, #1) by Elisa Ludwig or Three Little Words (Walker Family, #0.5) by Melissa Tagg afterwards!

message 111: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter, #3) by J.K. Rowling and Hero (Woodcutter Sisters #2) by Alethea Kontis . I will be starting Fury by Steven James sometime this weekend! (Can't wait!!)

Yay! Hope you love Three Little Words! It was so good!!

message 113: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2535 comments Wow, good job guys! I try to do two books at a time but lately I've been going really slow!

I haven't read any of those books Melanie and Bri (I haven't even read the Harry Potter series, shocker) but I hope you enjoy your books! :)

message 114: by Amphitrite (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) Melanie, Oh! I like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter, #3) by J.K. Rowling , and really liked Hero (Woodcutter Sisters #2) by Alethea Kontis was great when I read it a year ago! Pirates make a great story :)

Amy, I was reading Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) by Rachel Hartman so that I could read my copy of Shadow Scale (Seraphina, #2) by Rachel Hartman but I got really caught up in One Great Year by Tamara Veitch ! It's really long, almost 500 pages but I like it! I think I'm going to read Three Little Words (Walker Family, #0.5) by Melissa Tagg since it's short and will give me a break from long books before I finish Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) by Rachel Hartman and then read Pretty Crooked (Pretty Crooked, #1) by Elisa Ludwig !

Wow that ended up having a ton of covers, haha!

message 115: by Amphitrite (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) Also! If any of you get the chance I highly recommend the following series!!!!

The Problem With Crazy (Crazy in Love, #1) by Lauren K. McKellar Eleven Weeks (Crazy in Love #2) by Lauren K. McKellar The Problem With Heartache (Crazy in Love, #3) by Lauren K. McKellar

I finished the third book earlier today and I loved it!

message 117: by Melanie (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) Cool!

Kelly, let me know what you pick up and I'll see if I've got it to read for this month and maybe we can buddy up!

Speaking of which, I have a couple of ARC's I'd like to buddy read at some point this month hopefully. Here they are

The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre The Secrets of Attraction by Robin Constantine

If anyone else has ARC's releasing this month or next let me know! I have a few others but these two are the ones I need to read soon(ish)

message 125: by Kelly (last edited Mar 14, 2015 02:27PM) (new)

Kelly (kellyanlas) Here are the books I picked up today!

message 130: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2535 comments This week is another busy one for me unfortunately because I have a deadline due this Friday at work but after that I'll have a lot more time to read.
I'm hoping to finish at least eight more books by the end of the month, most of those have buddies.

message 131: by Tati (new)

Tati Amy, I'm the same... As I'm going on vacation next week, I have loads of stuff to do this week

message 132: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2535 comments It's horrible when you'd just rather be doing something else, at least you get a break next week! Do you have anything nice planned? :)

message 133: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (kellyanlas) Bri and Melanie, I'm going to hop on Three Little Words with you if I can still get it free today! Love those short and sweet stories :)

Does anyone else wish work didn't get in the way of reading time?

message 134: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (lovebeingvegan) | 13891 comments Kelly, I'd love for you to join the buddy read for Three Little Words! :) I loved the book and hope you enjoy it!

message 135: by Tati (new)

Tati I have some doctor appointments, have to get my car to the auto shop, but then, I have nothing to do! I might go to my grandparent's house for a week (I have two weeks off)

Amy | 2535 comments Tati wrote: "I have some doctor appointments, have to get my car to the auto shop, but then, I have nothing to do! I might go to my grandparent's house for a week (I have two weeks off)"

Sounds relaxing! I never take days off, It makes me feel more dedicated if I don't but I think I just end up stressing myself out! And then I'm always jealous of people who go on holiday etc. Even I know that's a little odd, haha.

message 137: by Tati (new)

Tati Well, we're mandated by law to have 30 days of paid holiday, so I don't really have a choice (though I need the time off)

message 138: by Marga (new)

Marga (margaraawr) | 1550 comments Man, how can the mods read so much and also comments on a lot of threads at the same time? :/

message 149: by Amphitrite (new)

Amphitrite (lady_amphitrite) I'm going to spend the day writing the reviews I'm behind on which is like, seven or eight books total I think, maybe more?

message 150: by Marga (new)

Haha. That's what I'm doing too. But I just leave 4-5 sentences and then just edit it later so I can read another book.
