Not going to lie, I haven't read any of those books! In high school, I actually did read The Scarlet Letter and How Green Is My Valley., I also remember actually finishing a book with a bright yellow cover, and it had something to do with Shangri-La, don't remember the title.

It is break time for me so I can do a lot more reading. Probably going t pick up Anna and the French Kiss soon, but I think I'll also start Maggot Moon and The Son Of Neptune.

Just curious, what is everyone's reading challenge for the year? My goal is 110.

Mine is 150 :) that's what I read last year so I'm trying for that again

My reading goal is 88, I have never kept track before and I'm already over halfway there, so I may need to change it, or just feel really good about myself by surpassing up by a lot :-) Marcus, if you do read Anna and the French Kiss, I really want to read that, so we could buddy read ;-)

Christina, are any of those books any good? I just to be honest would rather read books I really liked, I will try to get as much done this weekend as possible. I think all together we can pull ahead! !

I guess I just am hopeful, that this challenge is all about reading books you want to read. Rather than reading a bunch of very short books you have no desire of reading at all. That is just me :-) and remember I am old ;-) also, I think teamwork is key and together as a team we can definitely do it!

And regarding your second post, that's very true. I don't have much desire to read them because there's a pile I want to get through but they're not much good for (Edit: This) challenge because they're long T__T

I did manage to get through a handful I really wanted to read so that's good :)

At this stage I'm trying to maximise points (I'm quite competitive and if I see short free reads I'm going to jump on them if the blurb sounds any good).

I've been mainly reading my normal books, usually 300 pages ish, but I've read a few shorter books too. I'm reading a couple of the kindle freebies to boost points but I do agree with you Berit about the team work should be enough rather than just reading the short kindle books for points.
