Buddy reads count towards points. The more points we have the better chance we have of beating the chaser

Christina, I think we both answered your question at the same time :-) if you want to post books you want to read here, I will do a buddy read with you. I am also eventually going to form a shelf called The Chase, if you want to look at that. Anyone on on this team who wants to add me as a friend, feel free! ☺️☺️
Thanks guys. Answered my q! I will also be filling a shelf for the chaser =)https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
It was originally going to be number of books, but because we wanted to give bonus points for buddy reads, it will be more like points; 1 point for the book, and 1 point for the buddy read ☺
One more question... if we're currently reading a book but finish it on or after March 1st, should we count it or no?
I think we're off to a great start! I set up my Chase shelf, if anyone wants to take a look. I also have a shelf for buddy reads, which are all going on in this group this month.I have a couple books I need to finish up before the end of this month.☺️
Is anyone planning on reading
during the challenge? If so, I'd like to start it on the first of march. Would anyone like to join?
I have already committed myself to 4 or more but he reads in this group in the beginning of the month. My end of month is a lot more open. There are a lot of buddy reads going on this month in this group. Have you guys check them all out?
Okay, so I've got a buddy read for Snow Like Ashes on the second if anyone else wants to join. I'll link the thread in a bit.

"Hi Tammie, You're in this group: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Hi guys! I was just thinking since we will be spending the next months together, we should let each other know a little something about ourselves. I will start, I am 45, the mother of three children 18, 17, and 12, boy girl boy. I live in Southern California. I love to read, exercise, and I most of all love being a mom.. Most of my real life friends do not read, so I am really enjoying meeting all kinds of people from all kinds of places that share my love for reading.
Honestly, my oldest two are only 13 months apart, so I don't remember ever only having one child :-) I love the teenage years so much fun, my kids always say I am just a big teenager myself.☺️
Yikes! I have friends who have children 14 months apart and they've said how much hard work it is, you must be a super-mum ☺
I am 13 years old and I am a student. I live in Estonia. I really like reading and spending time on various social networking sites, mostly Youtube. My favourite food is pizza and I also love ice cream. Because of school I have become very fond of a good night's sleep, which doesn't happen too often, because I am very worried about my grades and I can't sleep at night. School is hard sums that sentence up.
My 12-year-old son loves YouTube as well, I have to admit I watch the book tubers, find it interesting.. It is really cool that you're so studious, it will definitely pay off.☺️
I like, A Book Utopia and Cat a test dick. I don't know if I spelled that right :-) who do you like?
I'm Rachel, I'm 20, and I'm from the UK :) I love to read, mainly young adult stuff. I love watching booktubers too.
Diversity! I'm Christina and I'm from way down under in Sydney Australia. I'm 23 years old and Ive graduated and am working full time. I love YouTube too and my other hobbies beside reading include DIY crafts and playing the piano!
Well I guess I'm the old lady of the group :-) I can play mom and keep us all on track ;-)it seems like were all from different parts of the world, no other Americans in the group?looking forward to getting to know all of you a little bit better :-)
I am 18 and I live in the US. I love singing, reading (obviously) baking and cooking! I am also a blogger and love getting to know other book people! i'm about to graduate high school so I'm looking forward to that
I will definitely be on a different time zone to you guys (while you are reading I will be sleeping hehe).
Christina, I am on Pacific standard time, so you are probably only six hours behind me, but a day ahead. So, we will be awake and reading at the same time.. I'm trying to finish up my current book, so I can start fresh and new tomorrow!☺️☺️☺️
Well it is almost time! It will be March 1 here in about four hours :-) happy reading to all of you! It would be great if we all could try to check in at least twice a week to update our progress. It's just nice to know we are not alone ;-)most importantly have fun!!!!
So you've already finished about three books, right? LOL :-)I can't believe how fast some of these people around here can read! I used to think I was a fast reader, not so much anymore ;-)
One is really good! I ate dinner at a restaurant called Outback tonight had a down under thunder brownie sundae, still feeling very full and guilty about it :-)

This is kind of late but I'm Phoebe, I'm fifteen and I live in the United States and like someone else mentioned I used to think I was a fast reader but it's nothing compared to you guys! Happy reading everyone :)
