Finding a Team: My Restaurant Rocks Challenge 2022
Hi ladies, I loved playing My Restaurant Rocks last time. Looking for a team.I read about 12-15 books a month. I'm not very good with spreadsheets though, actually just the set up. Once it's in play, I'm good.
Hi I’m looking for a team. I’ve never done this challenge before and I can just about use a spreadsheet but not create one. My main strength as a team member would be: I read 30 + books a month.
I love this challenge! So glad it’s back. I read about 20 books per month, and am looking for a team. My GR ID is 21653598-cb
Lisa and Emma - do you want to start a team?
Sure. Are you good with spreadsheets, cause Emma and I might need some help. With the spread sheets that is, I think we've got the reading totally under control. 😁So CB - 20 books
Emma 30 books
Lisa - 13 books - 3741108-lisa---aussie-girl
The first month is 80 books maximum. We need 3 more people.

Great! I work with spreadsheets regularly in my job, so I’m pretty decent.
Looking forward to this challenge, should be fun.
This challenge looks so fun! I'm also looking to join a team. 2044729-vicky
I can very comfortably commit to 10 books a month, I've been averaging closer to 13 but I'm tackling a very long, very chunky fantasy series right now so 10 seems like a safer bet! :)
I'm quite good at spreadsheets (especially the NBRC kind) and even when I'm not I'm very proficient at googling how to make them do what I want. LOL
A quick question: In one place it appears teams need to have up to six players. In other places, it's a definite six players.I'm part of a team of five that regularly plays together - do we need to find a sixth?
Thanks!

Hi Vicky - if you are able to join our team that would be great! This is such a fun challenge
If anyone is still looking for a team member, I am volunteering myself. I am new to the challenge but would love to participate. I am averaging about 20 books a month so far this year and my user id is 7271131-ariel.

Ariel, would you like to join up with us..
So CB - 20 books
Emma 30 books
Lisa - 13 books - 3741108-lisa---aussie-girl

... I will be away overseas for the last few weeks of the challenge with unknown wifi so reading over the target will work well.
Ariel wrote: "I'm all for joining you guys if you'll have me! :)"Lovely. Now we have to come up with a team name. Suggestions?
Here's mine - Team Bubble, Bubble, Boil and Crumble (aka The Scottish Cafe)
Hi friends! I am also looking for a team. I read about 10 books a month but can read more if needed. I'm decent enough with spreadsheets and last year it was my personal joy to figure out assigning all the meals at the end of each month -- so if anyone is looking for someone to take care of that part, I'm your girl :)

I like it! Plus I don’t have any suggestions of my own!
Hi! I'd like to join a team! I've never done this particular challenge before, but I have done the Tower and Wheel challenges in the past few years. I average about 10 books a month and am a sci-fi/fantasy fan, but will read just about anything. I can work a spreadsheet but not create one. Any teams needing one more member?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for the name? Or are you happy with Bubble ,Bubble, Boil and Crumble aka The Scottish Cafe?
Thanks everyone. When CB checks in with thoughts on the name we'll go ahead and register our team. Start getting into the groove of looking for those food and drink items... but anyone who played before probably never got out of the habit..😁

And yes, I do find myself still noting food and drink items in books that I read, ever since the first MRR challenge 😂
Looking for three more team members. At the moment our team includes Karen and Melissa (in addition to me), we were in the same team during the previous restaurant challenge and had a blast. Unfortunately, some of our previous team members aren't able to join this time, so we're looking for three more members to complete our restaurant crew. It would be great if you are able to commit to about 13-14 books per month, that would bring us up to about 80. Please holler here or send me a PM.

Hi!!So I can read about 8-12 books a month. Im a huge PNR/Fantasy fan, and I love Romance too
I havent played this challenge before, but I did play Tower teams this time..
I'd like to join a team :)
I would love to join a team. Loved this challenge before. Big litrpg/fantasy fan. Read about 8-10 books a month but need to do some catching up so big push here to read more.
Heya! Never played this before and I would like to play! Approx 15 books a month, mysteries/suspense/thriller fan..
We currently have 5 confirmed teammates plus another person whose response we're waiting to get. If for some reason she's unable to play we will be looking for another partner. Just posting here as of now but haven't added us yet until we have our 6th person confirmed.

Can we form a team guys? Since we seem to have the same favourite genres and almost the same number of books, it could be funn!
Hi I'm interested and looking for a team to join the fun! I read more or less 10 books per month and mostly thriller, fantasy and romance books!
@Charanya we want to have a total of 80 books a month and if we form a team we would be about 20 books to low. Hopefully a few more people will want to join with higher per month reading numbers so we can for teams that a close to that.

Kira wrote: "@Charanya....can I join?"Yup!!
Lets just wait for the others to confirm whether they're in
Meanwhile, team names?
I have 0 skill in naming stuff, so..
If anyone still needs a team member, I would like to join. I read about 13-15 books on average, although sometimes I read more than this. It depends on what I am reading. I am ok with spreadsheets and what I don't know I can look up. I have done this challenge but I have done others before.

We'd love to have you join us, Heather! You'd be the fourth member in our team. I'll PM you.

Already have a team?
Great, please skip to the bottom of this message and follow the instructions.
Need to find a team?
This thread is the place to shout out to fellow group members to form a team.
In your message, don't forget to include:
* How many books you will read in a month
* Your goodreads User ID
(To find your Goodreads User ID, click on your name (or go to your profile page). In the URL bar you will see something like https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8.... In this example, your User Name is 8460201-karen))
Remember that this is a self-directed team challenge. You and you alone are in charge of putting together your team - of up to six members.
Once you have put together your team of up to six players (and have ideally chosen a team name), you can follow the instructions at the bottom of this message and complete the sign up form. Only one person signs up on behalf of the entire team.
When your team is ready to sign up:
Sign Ups need to be done by one person who is entering the details for the entire TEAM onto the sign-up form.
Make sure you know before signing up:
* the Goodreads User ID of all your team members
* the email address you will use to access the team spreadsheet (There are generally issues if you don't use a gmail address. Please keep that in mind if you want fast access. More addresses can later be added to the sheet to give access to more team members if you wish.)
The sign-up form is here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FA...
If you are unsure whether your sign-up went through or to generally see, out of curiosity, what sign-ups have been received, you can do so on this spreadsheet:
