Oh nice. He is an author I have never read, but his books look interesting.

I read The Passage series by him. It was very good.

Have you already downloaded it? It doesn't publish until May. You could wait a little while to download it and keep your percentage up that way.

I did download it as it feels like cheating to me personally otherwise. I got my first one done for the month - The Spear Cuts Through Water (4 stars), and I enjoyed it. I was closer than I thought because apparently even with downloading one that rounded me up to 80%. I'll just have to not request any others this month. My goal is still to read another 2 books to get down under 30 total.

Kristie, good for you. You are very conscientious and active on Goodreads. I am sure that being at 79% was fine, but glad you got one in and now are back to 80%. Hope you enjoy this book.

Goals: Finish 2021 Books. Read at least 3 other books this month.
1. Finishing Death as a Living. See if I can get review in today. That will leave one past publication book and was approved for this one Past the Publication Date.
2. The Lords of Time, will try to finish next month. Love this Series, and actually bought the physical book since Knew my Dad reads this, too and had not heard either way about approval.
Nice to get those old 2021 books Reads Finished.
Finished 2 books, not 3 this month. Was busy with other books and completing Challenges, so hard to get NetGalley read this month. Still, up to date, except for 2 books described above.

I didn't get any read this month :o
I had some chunksters plus the Pillars of the Earth BR.
But I'm going to get stuck into one of my NetGalley books this week so I can have progress in september!

oooh so close!! Next month for sure!

I hope they were all good reads!! Congrats!

Fingers crossed!

Tari, you should be pleased, Reading 12 books this month is impressive + your feedback ratio went up. Good for you.

I’m ok with being denied, but this last couple of months crazy. Not getting quick approvals from certain publishers I usually do and about 8 just sit unanswered. Thanks, to everyone with help and suggestions this month. Much appreciated.

Excellent 😊 Glad you got the most in this month. Hope you enjoyed them.

This is the problem I run into that keeps me from getting caught up. I'm going to try not to request anything between now and the end of the year except for 2023 releases so I can attempt to completely clear my backlog by the end of the year.

So, I ended up with a wash - added two, reviewed two. But I also got an older one off my shelf and my two adds don't publish until next year, so that's actually progress. lol
