Warren Coughlin | 2 comments Hi,
Just wondering if people have recommendations for adventure/fantasy books or series that don't involve orphans, dead or dying parents, or a kid being abducted or abandoned.
These are common tropes in the genre, but for some teens who've been through this kind of experience, it can create some strong negative reactions.
I've found them hard to find.

Leslie Alford | 9 comments I specifically wrote these books with no curse words, weapons or disturbing scenes. They still are fast-paced secret agent books, and adults are enjoying them as well. Set before covid, even. We all need a fun escape!

There is a brief capture scene toward the end of Ski Resort with an Agent you might want to proofread, but the dialogue is funny, and everyone ends up ok. Best wishes to you. Leslie

Leslie Alford | 9 comments There is an instagram hashtag #cleanyabooks I've just found, too, that might have more ideas. Thanks.
