I’m just so pissed the guys have such evil plans for her when she’s a victim herself. How is this better than what he did? Hopefully they listen to her now. I dunno thinking this may not be for me. I like dark books but I was unprepared for this, plus I really thought it’d be a paranormal with demons and shit 🤷🏼‍♀️ (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[Wow, no decent epilogue and no concrete answers on what happened to Falcons’s brother. I mean we can assume he’s dead but damn was there nothing happy about this book lol. This was an ok read for me, I didn’t love or hate it but I wish I’d known what to expect more before going in. All the books in this series are so completely different I’ll have to keep that in mind. It bothers me how she keeps trying to explain to them that she is also a victim but they don't even want to know what happened and refuse to listen to her like they can be the only victims in this scenario. Then they keep trying to convince themselves that they are nothing like her dad but what they are doing is something that her dad would do. I was enjoying this but now I'm starting to have problems with it. I think maybe it's just too dark for me lol. (hide spoiler)]

We are def on the same page with this one. And it's funny because I do like dark books and dark subject matter but for some reason here maybe its the execution, but it did not work for me.

Same here! I also like dark books but for some reason I'm not having a good time with this one lol. I think for me maybe it's because of the guys and how they are treating her because what they have been doing is exactly what her dad would do even if they don't want to believe it and think they are different somehow.

Also, this is supposed to be a dark romance. I'm still waiting on the romance part. I don't like the guys at all because of how they have been treating her and I don't understand why she would want anything to do with them after how bad they have been treating her. (hide spoiler)]

They all are starting to realize that they are starting to feel things more than lust for each other but I'm not buying it. I feel like the only thing that is attracting the guys to her is lust and desire and I feel like that's the only reason she is attracted to them. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ Yeah this one just wasn't for me. I didn't care at all about the relationship between the characters. I felt like their relationship was more based off of lust than love and I just had a really hard time with the way they treated her. They didn't even want to hear her out when she was trying to explain to them how she was also a victim but then she showed them the scar on her back and they are all of a sudden nice to her. Even though this story wasn't for me I still want to give the other books in this series a try because they are all different. (hide spoiler)]

I didn't even read the epilogue because I just didn't care enough about the story so I guess I did the right thing lol. I just wanted it to be over by the time I got to the end tbh. I wasn't a fan of this one at all.
