It’s hard to believe after three years but we will be wrapping up the Lucy Kincaid series at the end of September. It’s been quite the journey as we included all of the connected series (seven of them!) and I hope it’s one that you’ve enjoyed.

It's time to begin nominating your choice of a mystery series you'd like considered for the rest of 2022 and into 2023. Since the historical romance series we’re currently reading, The Ravenels, will be ending in October, we will also begin nominating series in all other genres for consideration. To make things easier for you, only indicate the genre for all mystery series nominated.

There are only a few rules:

1. You're limited to nominating a maximum of three series for the mystery genre and three for all others. Please indicate “mystery” in your nominations for that category.
2. Each nominated series must have at least three books.
3. The books in the series must be available for purchase.
4. Your nomination must include the series name and author (check on Goodreads for the proper series name).

Nominations will close after August 15 and two polls will be created for voting (mystery and mixed genres). The top five in each poll will move to a final vote unless there’s a clear choice.

Shelby (whiskeygirl75) | 66 comments So the only books read are Allison Brennan, The current Ravenals series and Rock Chicks? I ask cause I looked for a list I don't want to nominate something already read. I know Rock Chicks was forfeited.

Here’s the link to the archive of our past series group reads. I believe I’ve tagged each series to appear at the top.

This is a spin-off of the Knitting in the City series. So perhaps we could begin with that one.

I looked at that and couldn’t find the connection. Even checked the author’s website. Have you read either? I know it says that on the series page but I can’t find that reference anywhere else.

Shelby (whiskeygirl75) | 66 comments Jonetta I've read all of them both series and it is a spin off of knitting club books. The bearded series is all the brothers of the 3rd character book in knitting. Doesn't have to be read but there is a reason behind it

I think that’s what was added as the prequel in this series (book #4).

Never mind - I see Shelby explained it :)

I've read the first two Knitting Club books. I loved #1 but #2 was so-so mainly because I disliked the heroine. Other readers like her though.

There is also a spin off of the Winston brothers - Solving for Pie
