I would like to keep in touch too.
As of right now if we are able to and with this we look to about fill two more categories and some random ones. We are currently squeaking by in the top spot!

I finished category 12! We're 11 points in the lead. I still have a few hours before the kids get home and I have to head to work at 4:30, but not sure I'll be able to start and finish anything at this point.

I was hoping to read a short Magic book, but the one I checked out turned out to be LG, so I'm reading this chonker instead. It's really good, though! This may have to be my last book.

I've been neglecting chores, too, though I still have editing deadlines, dang it.

I was thinking of trying to fit in two more: Percy Jackson and/or Alcatraz vs the Liberians (I got an arc)
I was hoping to help finish a section for us to help stay in the lead!

Yeah girls, I'm officially done! I ended up having to give my son a Covid test (negative!) I also had to be mom taxi for piano lessons, and I leave for work in 30 minutes. I'm offically tapping! But am so happy with our end result whatever it is. You guys are awesome!!!!

WOW! We are truly magical! I am tapping out too. If someone can find a #74. about protagonist who doesn't believe in fairies, but has to work with them. It would finish off another category. 15.

What are you studying, Jos?

Languages haha, that's the name of my career. I'm going to be a professional translator :) Specifically I'm studying English and French, Spanish is my mother tongue so by the end of the career I should be able to translate from those 3 languages

I got a minor in linguistics. I know Spanish pretty well, but I'm better at reading than listening, and my grammar is so rusty. I was born in Mexico City, too.

Oh, that's so cool! And yeah, I totally get what you say about being better at reading than listening, it also happens to me but with French

Ya'll are making me want to take more Latin classes, not spanish latin but more of the dead language (Already taken three classes for it). It's one of the few I wanna learn, among with a few others.

Now I got to figure out and take care of working with others for my readathon since we are debuting the year long in January! I'll still be in contact!!

For some reason I can understand men better than women -- I think the lower pitch helps. And I cannot understand Puerto Ricans at all, but native Spanish speakers tell me even they have a hard time with that accent.
