So, interesting, In Which Witch?, the set up is the dark wizard needs a wife and sets up a competition, but the protagonist is Belladonna, the white witch who tries to be dark as she has fallen for the Wizard, the story really moves following HER trials and errors. hmmm.. Great quoted article!

Thanks for clarifying, Great fun!

My goal is to finish #23 today and go back to Category 13.

I'll read The Forgotten Girl instead, no problem. That way you don't have to search for another book for #36!

Go for it Kelly, There are plenty of others to work on. I am 1/2 through BT2.

Oh for 97 I have an arc of that book, the new one with illustrations so can do that one unless who put that title there is wanting to do it now.

Oh for 97 I have an ar..."
Aeriell, for #8 would Enola Holmes work with public figure Sherlock? I am already reading it for another #41, but it would be worth more in the BT group? only if it helps us all. 'An element of fun!'

Oh for..."
It would count since it has to share first or last name, it's up to you where you want to put it. The book that I have also has a teen protagonist so if we don't find another book I can fill in hat slot if need be.
This week I'm going to be catch up reading

I would think that counts

I would think that counts"
I have two books that have the gold medal or gold ribbon printed on the front. #69 currently read for #BT8 and #11. There is Scholastic Gold (you can google it) Aeriell can you check to make sure they count?

I just went to go see and it comes up as service unavaliable. Though through google it says it is for middle grade readers but storygraph has it as YA.. I'm trying to see for ya, I asked Kadi since the States version is not working but the UK is.

Yay! I'll finish the Enola Holmes #7 then. Thanks!

I don't know because in the task guidence tab all it says is:The future the fortune teller tells can end up being correct or incorrect; both counts.

Thanks! I decided against Wonderstruck even though it would've gotten us more points. I realized it's more of an illustrated story rather than mixed media. I've read some definitions of mixed media that do include art, but Kadi's guidance for the task makes me think Wonderstruck doesn't count after all.
So I found Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer which has letters, quizzes, to-do lists, etc. Seems to fit better. And that title!! ;-)

I don..."
I'll leave it unless/until you hear otherwise. I have another book that will fit, but it's longer and time is getting short. The book I used would probably also work for #67 and #68 and as a horror genre.

Past that I don't know if I have anymore I can do/be able to
I also removed my name from two:
52-Because I don't think I fully have a book to fit that, I have one, I was thinking SharkWars book 1 because he just thinks hes a normal shark and he dosen't win any fights really till the end. If ya'll think it fits then let me know, its a short book
36-I have to go to the library for these so if someone can fill them faster then me go ahead.

Yay! finished Enola Holmes, and I placed it as #8 with Sherlock being a public figure. If that is ok, then we have another category complete!

I would think that counts"

#69 gold medal, I am reading Dear Mr. Henshaw, short read!

Please check to make sure it answers #8 or we can use it elsewhere.

I found figure it does since it matches last name the task guidence says:It can be a modern famous figure or an ancient one. They can share a first OR last name with the figure. They must be a significant famous figure, pulling out obscure politicians or random new-age streamer-type celebs does not count!

So #8 is ok, and category complete?

Yep!

A friend gave me a suggestion for #82, but the library doesn't have that one. (Written in the spreadsheet.)

We totally have a chance of winning this, you guys. (No, not competitive at all, not me! ;-)

I'll work on category 3, I have 2 done (#11, #14)and am on #13 now, my third book in this category. Ok with you Audrey?

I agree! I want to read all 100 ! Oh, to just sit under a tree with a slight breeze whispering, a cup of tea, or better yet, a tall glass of ice tea and a pile of good books!

ame. at least 3 others in this series if not more are listed on..."
Or, I can use A Christmas Carol... the true identity of the three ghosts is never revealed!

Same!! :-)

I agree! I want to read all 100 ! Oh, to just sit under a tree with a slight breeze whisperin..."
Ohh, that sounds amazing. Yes, this has given us quite the TBR list!

I just finished category #1 and the extra points for me doing it myself haven't been added yet. Is that something that automatically is added, or does Kadi go in an add it herself? I didn't notice how that was done yet. Making sure we get all of our points due to us!!

The spreadsheet is filling up nicely!

The spreadsheet is filling up nicely!"
Ok, thought so too, but it doesn't say "Cat comp by 1" as the others do and if my calculations were correct we should have 280 now, not 270?
