Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Rusalka - I was checking the weather app this morning before I left for work. It was 48f and cloudy here at 9:40am and the high was going to be 57f.
I looked at Canberra and it was 48f and cloudy at 3:40am. Your high was indicated as 75f. I just thought it too funny that it was the same temp and the numbers for the highs were reversed. Okay - I will go back to work now. I am eating lunch. I should be reading Cloudstreet but I am hanging out here reading posts...sigh...

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments It's cool today. Pretending it's autumn. How funny though that it's almost opposite.

I'll go check the Cloudstreet thread. Sorry to hear you're struggling with it.

LOL! I usually try to give it a shot. It always depends on whether I can find one I already have that will fit, or if I find one on my TBR list that I want to buy or borrow. The cover criteria was pretty "challenging" this time. I am not complaining. I had a blast gophering! I actually bought three books, read two that did not qualify for the number of pages and gave the third to Amy, which she did not read. What I ended up with was borrowed from the librarary and had been on my TBR list for a long time. It scored more on bonus points than any of the other criteria and that was just luck, in my opinion.

Woot! Two for one!

message 278: by Peggy (new)

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15868 comments I try too! I usually read the highest-scoring books from the ones I have that fit the challenge. Not because I want to win, but because it's always so hard to choose a book and this can make the decision for me ;-)
