ANNOUNCING the theme for August 2022

We invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month.

Perhaps there's a holiday (major or obscure) you want to celebrate? Maybe you want to focus on a specific genre or tag? Want to look for cover image or color? Focus on the author's initials? Whatever "theme" you can come up with is fair game.

BE SURE to include the task requirement for your theme:
Examples:
Author, Author!: Read a book whose author's first and last initials are in "Author, Author"
Spring is Here!: Read a book with flower(s) on the cover - be sure to post the cover image.
Read a book with "COZY MYSTERY" as a genre


ONE nomination per member


To encourage participation from more members, the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Beverly, you will *not* be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

DEADLINE - 25 July 2022 5p CDT, or 5 nominations (whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

Nominated themes:
* Happy Anniversary, Aug 24 - Book has at least TWO of the numbers 8 2 4 in the page count (any order) (Carol)
* Just Because Day, Aug 27 - Read a book "just because" of the cover, or the title, or the synposis, or any other wild reason. Explain the reason you picked the book. (SouthWestZippy)
* Dog Days of Summer - Read a book with a dog on the cover (Book Concierge))

August 24th is our wedding anniversary. Read a book that has at least 2 of the numbers 824 in the page count. (82, 48, 428 etc.)

August 27 is Just Because Day
Read a book Just because of the books cover, the unusual title, the synopsis. Can be something out of your comfort zone or some other wild reason.
Explain the reason you picked the book.
