Hi Reed!First off, happy slightly-belated birthday! Hope you had a great day!
Here are your picks for August - hope you find something good!
1. Dondurma ➺ Turkey
TBR The Measure (4.0+ rating) Erlick
TBR/NEW The Invitation (4.0+ rating) Technically this is on your TBR already, but I’m bumping it up! Just finished this one this month after letting it languish on my TBR for a year. Should have read it sooner! This was a surprising page-turner for me!
2. Sundae ➺ United States
TBR These Twisted Bonds (red on cover and 2 in pub date)
NEW Dirty (2 in publication and page count) Very not sweet here, but a really good book! One of those ones I needed a few days to recover from, but not in a bad way!
3. Banana Split ➺ United States
TBR My Killer Vacation (MC is a teacher) This sounds fun!
NEW Riptide (yellow on cover) This was recommended to me on this very challenge and I’m so glad I got to read it. Really enjoyed it!
4. Ice Cream Sandwich ➺ United States
TBR A Game of Cones (food cover!) I mean honestly with the topic of ice cream; how could I NOT recommend this one?!
TBR/NEW Beneath the Starlit Sea (4 in pub date) Had to get this one on your list this month, though I know it’s not technically ‘new’! Sometimes getting more of our TBR list is better than new books! Though I newly added this one to my TBR list… LOL!
5. Ice Cream Float ➺ United State s
TBR Summer at Hope Haven (clouds floating, set in US)
TBR The Lucky Escape (floating on the water!) Sounds like a fun one!
NEW I See London, I See France (things floating on cover) Definitely a fun summer read! Loved this romp through Europe, something I’ve always wanted to do!
6. Gelato cioccolato ➺ Italy
TBR Juliet Immortal (brown on cover, 1st in series and a 6 in page count!) Loved this author’s book Of Beast and Beauty and keep meaning to read this one!
TBR/NEW Reluctantly Yours (6 in page count) Another one added to my TBR and not technically ‘new’ to you!
7. Affogato ➺ Italy (my favorite from this list!)
TBR Igniting Ivy (steamy cover!) I’m reading this one for August too, buddy read maybe?
NEW The Layover (coffee drinking, steamy story!) Totally enjoyed this one!
8. Gelato al pistacchio ➺ Italy
TBR Juniper Hill (green cover) Sounds interesting!
NEW Breathing Room (set in Italy) Such a great story! Another one I was recommended in this challenge and really enjoyed! A little bit How Stella Got her Groove Back and a lot of Under the Tuscan Sun!
Happy Reading!!

Hi Jill! It’s not required but it’s always so nice to see what you read and if you enjoyed it. You can post all month long here, if you read more than one title :)
(See my post below as an example 😊)
Hi Chris!I finished
from your list for me. It was a fast, nice read. I wish it were just a little longer and we could have explored more about Riker’s past, but it was still an enjoyable neighbors to lovers story. Thanks for the push to get it off my tbr!
Hi MountainKat,I read The Other Miss Bridgerton
, and it was excellent! Thank you for such good recommendations - you did a great job. I also downloaded several others of your recommendations, but have been quite busy catching up with some other things due to a family tragedy earlier in the year. I will eventually get them read, just not this month. Thanks again for such great picks.
