I understand that the 'waiting in some way' was the intent of of the prompt. Because of the way ebooks are sold (or borrowed from the library if there isnt a waitlist ) the words 'not available instantly' grate for me. I only mention it because if the prompt doesnt get in this time and isnt Bottom it might be worth re-wording

Great choices. I really liked the series that started with The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet. My absolute favorite was A Closed and Common Orbit.

God, my pet peeve! If you decide you want to write a series, write it! Don't stop and do other stuff! Some of us are waiting for the next darn book!

Course my other pet peeve is writers who write to the series and rather than telling complete stories just tell one divided into 3.

Is it just me or did a ton of posts just disappear. I go from NancyJ’s post on July 16 and the next new post showing is Pamela’s from 1 hour ago.

I tried refreshing and am on my phone but reading using the desktop version of GR.

That's odd. I I thought it was just because I was writing on the RESULTS post not this one.

I kept having problems yesterday with the listopias. I voted on several books, and then a little while later they were all gone. It kept happening, when some or all wouldn't "take."

I’m starting to think, I got the voting and results threads confused.

I have not had had disappearing threads before but I have heard of it happening in other groups.
