This thread is where you can chat about all things PIFM, ask questions and once books have been read, review your selected reads. A complete free for all.

PLEASE NOTE:

PIFM is meant to be FUN and not to be taken seriously. I would appreciate it if all participants just chilled and not get worked up about voting, who votes, who doesn't, etc. Please bear in mind that some will just want to vote, many don't come on everyday and most of us have time constraints. I just want a relaxed approach to it all and for you all to just enjoy the process! I'd really appreciate your courtesy in this matter. Many thanks.

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I am sorry that my August list wasn’t highlighted. For some reason the web site wouldn’t let me. Ever since we moved we have struggled with several functions. Bummer!

I hate when that happens. I hope you can fix the issues soon, so that life becomes easier again.

Agnieszka (agnieszka7) | 1462 comments I have a tie:

W pustyni i w puszczy by Henryk Sienkiewicz W pustyni i w puszczy=In Desert and Wilderness by Henryk Sienkiewicz - classic, middle school, adventure
The Truth Teller by Angela Elwell Hunt The Truth Teller by Angela Elwell Hunt Christian science fiction, drama & mystery

I'd welcome any additional votes on those two (even if placed within the first week of August). Worst case I'll try to read both of them so I ca give them back when I'm going to see my parents/best friend in September.

How are you doing Vickie? Are you going to to teach in the fall? I love Kentucky and have a neighbor who is a library volunteer. I give her the books that I read so she can add them to their store.

Vicki Willis I am out of town so on my phone and I have a quick question.
How come SOME of the posts are
Incomplete and just a few words are visible?
I can see the Kirsten and Patricia replied to my msg but it isn’t the whole post so I can’t read what it says.
But earlier msgs I can see the whole thing?
And probably I won’t be able to read the answer to this so I will have to wait til I get home.
Any app users have advice?

Depends on the App. I noticed the same issue as soon as there's a picture everything afterwards dissapears (OS system), on the other hand android cuts off everything after the first book cover. My solution was to switch to browser and display it there. Usually you'll get the mobile edition (with all it's issue) on a phone but can go down and change to desktop edition. It's tedious as the format is bigger than fits the screen but at least it displays everything.
