Chapter 5: (view spoiler)[I hope the story picks up a little and becomes a little more fast paced, because I am interested in the characters, but I don't need any more description of people trudging through cold and foggy landscapes... I am not even one for action, but here it just feels like we are following people going through their daily chores, not exactly enthralling. (hide spoiler)]

I also think tbe religions could have been made a bit more different... It is like they are in England, Wes is catholic Irish and Maggie is half-jewish. Could have been a bit more creative? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 22: (view spoiler)[So something is happening... Veeeery slowly... I mean, I get that the book is about their buddying relayionship and the hunt, but it feels too slow to analyse every single moment of this week, somehow... and a bit too much dialogue. I am enjoying this drawn out thing between the two of them, but it feels a bit weird in terms of pacing, too... (hide spoiler)]

Ending: (view spoiler)[I loved how she stood up to jer mother. For once the slowness and the back and forth between wanting to leave her and hate her and feeling like she couldn't is perfectly fitting, I really liked it. The ending makes it very worth it, it was extremely satisfying seeing Margaret finally doing something for her own happiness. (hide spoiler)]
