I just had an "I've launched" email which gives some more details:

"It's launch day for Side Quested, the new medieval romance comedy by Ale Presser (me!) and K.B. Spangler! The world is a rough place right now, and we are cramming as much cuteness into these pixels as humanly possible. It's heavily inspired by Ranma 1/2 and other old-school manga. If you want magic, dragons, and 19-year-olds making really terrible mistakes which anger the very gods themselves, Side Quested is for you.

The comic will update Mondays and Thursdays on sidequested.com and is mirrored on Tapas. There is a RSS feed available for the main site."

Why yes, I did just solve the cryptogram attached to this week's comic. (Kind of feeling proud of myself, lol).
