I've only read three of the eight pages on the site and nothing's jumped out at me so far - and I wonder how many will have clips on Youtube. Perhaps Tim can help me - does this mean that Bandcamp or i-tunes albums are ineligible? So it's more likely an album only available directly from the artist or bought at a gig or from a busker? All help gratefully received.

Self-released albums on either Bandcamp or iTunes are fine. Just check to see whether any other artists have had albums released on the same 'label'. If they have it's ineligible.

To show what I mean with an older example. At the outset of their career an album by Nurse With Wound would have been fine, but the moment they released the Lemon Kittens album, United Dairies became a 'record label', and so wouldn't be acceptable. Same thing with eg, Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records when it began putting out stuff by other artists. Hope that clarifies.

I will allow John Martyn's 'Live At Leeds' if anybody is unable to find something, as the initial limited edition release (although on Island) was only available by mail order from the artist himself due to disagreements about its commercial prospects - obviously the track chosen must be on the original album. The deluxe CD reissue is somewhat different. Check the wiki or discogs pages.

OK, let's say other artists with no musical involvement of the label originator. In the case of yours, the NoMen play on the only release on their label not in their name (Phones Sportsman Band), so its fine.
