Chapter 1 – 4 : (view spoiler)[Honestly, I am only reading this to kick it off my tbr lol, it is high time I read the book for the movie adaptation is grew up watching. Although I am liking it better than the movie, I am so annoyed because I can’t stop seeing the actors’ faces whenever I read Bella and Edward’s lines! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5 – 8 : (view spoiler)[Oh I forgot how much their age weirds we out! Jacob is supposed to be 15 in the book!!!!!! I mean come on! Atleast show them closer to 18 for them to be able to do whatever it is that they do! I really liked the Port Angels Chapter though because no matter how old I am, I still like Edward appearing suddenly to save Bella from the bad guys hah! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9 - 12 : (view spoiler)[I am amazed that even after watching the movie so many times, I can’t remember all the exact scenes. I remember the faces but not what happened in the movie and I AM GLAD! Atleast it felt like i was reading something I didn’t know already. My childhood self’s favourite scene is coming up in the next chapter and I am pumped oof🤦‍♀️ (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 - 16 : (view spoiler)[I like Carlisle and Esme the best among all the Cullens ngl and Alice comes in at a close second. All the others are weird and aloof. I kept remembering the movie while reading these chapters because they focused completely on the romance and I cringed so bad at the “I love yous” lmao, HOW HOW do people fall in love so fast, it’s flabbergasting! Chapter 17 - 20 : (view spoiler)[This is not having the same effect on me as it did when I was a teenager, i used to be so impressed by all these vampires and their abilities but now…it just seems implausible and a bit ridiculous (hide spoiler)]

Finished : (view spoiler)[i cannot remember at all how the movie ends but I liked the way the book wrapped up things. I just absolutely adore Alice and can’t get enough of her. I am also slightly annoyed by Bella wanting to be a vampire just to be with Edward, seems like she isn’t thinking clearly at all. But then they are all teenagers so I guess I shouldn’t expect a lot in the first place? I am just glad I finally can take this off my tbr (hide spoiler)]
