It doesn’t take long for Lucy and Nate to suspect not only that Ricky is alive but that the Young children have critical information. Did you think if was Joe versus Ginny? Were you surprised when you learned it was Ginny and why they kept it secret from Joe?

[Anita]

I didn't notice that there was a secret that Ginny was keeping from Joe. Lucy has some real skill in handling children. I am surprised that Ginny was able to keep this secret from everyone for three years.

[Robin]

For a little while I thought Ricky may have returned to his friend's house and told the parents what happened. I figured they knew he was in danger and put him with someone that they trusted. I really didn't think the kids knew anything.

[Jonetta]

After giving it some thought, I could imagine what Ricky would have done if he escaped. The first thing he would have done was returned to the Young’s home. But, I thought he’d reach out to Joe. So, I always believed those kids knew more than they were giving up in that first interview.

But, I was surprised that it was Ginny. How astute of both of them not to tell Joe. That told me just how frightened Ricky was.

[Sharon]

I knew Ricky went back to the Young's house and confessed what happened to his friends. I couldn't figure out how the kids could keep him hidden for so long. When we discovered they suspected he was in Mexico, I was sure the parents had helped him hide. I didn't think the kids alone could safely get him out of the country.

When we found out Ginny was the only person who knew, I could see how Ricky's story scared her to keep the secret from everyone.
