I think you are looking for "The typewriter" by David Morrell. Here's a list of anthologies that contain this story: http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cg...
Non spolier part:
So the protagonist gets his hands on this magic typewriter, when he randomly presses any keys the typewriter writes bestselling novels. So he starts using it, writting several bestselling novels that make him rich and successful. He gets this typewritter from some recently deceased famous novelist.

I rememeber he buys a private jet, and basically spends his money fast and in advance.
Sitting on his private jet he readies himself to write his next novel, that he has already promised to deliver. He better does it cause as I said he spends his money in advance. So he sits with the typewriter starts to smash the keyboard randomly, after a while he realizes the typewriter is showing the random characters that he presses, and not writing coherent text.
He gets worried, so he makes a quick investigation on where the typewriter might have come from, in an attempt to find someone who can fix whatever is wrong with it. This investigation leads him to some shop. The clerk/owner is the man who made this magic machine. He tells the protagonist that it has simply ran out of "magic ink". The protagonist pleads for him to fix it but the man refuses, or he just can't do it. He says he has another magic typewritter but it is for his grandchilden to play with (or some other relatives that are very young), he brings it out to show him. The protagonist wants to buy it, but the clerk says it is for his children to play with and it wouldn't be of any use for the protagonist anyway, so the protagonist kills him in his desperation, and starts trying the new typewriter. And it works, but this one doesn't write novels, it writes the near future. It starts to display how the police will come and take the protagonist to jail for the murder he just commited, as sirens are heard in the distance.

A search in google leads me to other books, like the magic typewritter or typewritter's tale, which have a different plot.
And I think this is all I remember. This story captivated me for some reason, and when I tried searching for it again a couple years ago, thinking it was a matter of a quick google search, I only got to wrong titles and dead ends.
Thanks for your time reading this post, hope we can find it and in that case I recommend this short story to you all. It was a quick thrilling read. (hide spoiler)]
