Do I have to complete the Shadow and Bone trilogy to read Six of Crows?

I started reading Shadow and Bone a few days ago and I can't say that I love it. I don't hate it though! I do think it's interesting and I enjoy it but I can't say I am interested in reading the other two books. But I have heard really good things about six of crows and I really like the story so I want to read it sooo much. Do I have to read the trilogy before ?

I read the six of crows duology before I read the shadow and bone trilogy and it made sense to me so I would totally read six of crows!! In my opinion it’s better than shadow and bone! Hope you enjoy it!!

i read it all in order and i definitely recommend it! the s&b series is okey but it’s a good introduction to the the grishaverse. You can definitely just read six of crows but it’s going to be very confusing and hard to understand how the world works. You could just read the first shadow and bone book and the read six of crows. I’ve also seen someone say you can just watch the first episode of the series instead but i don’t really remember the first episode so idk if i recommend it.
