Really Listening. -My 2-year-old grandson Lee, was pointing to something he wanted to eat. The cookies he likes were sitting on top of the microwave, so I reached to get them, and he said NO. Now keep in mind there were also bananas sitting right by the cookies as well. So, I offered him the cookies again because normally he doesn't ask for a banana. His answer again was NO. He wanted the banana and when I gave it to him he took off running, so apparently, that was his YES! My point is that when we pray about a matter, sometimes we have already made up our minds what the answer is, instead of REALLY LISTENING to God. When God answers our prayers His yes is yes and His no is no, with nothing in between so there won't be any confusion. Then our lives will have a better flow to it because we took time to REALLY LISTEN. ("God speaks to people who take time to listen.) -in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:6 Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others. -Proverbs 12:15 Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the LORD will be joyful. -Proverbs 16:20 DIVINE WORDS BY DIANE.
