This does not look like a series to me. Do they have characters in common? Being retellings of fairytales is not enough to constitute a series.

Well, on the covers of both books, it does say it's "Twisting Fairytales Book #" and it's from the same author so... Unless I'm getting it wrong somewhere?

It's the content that's important, not what it says on the covers.

I agree that it doesn't seem like these books are really connected.

This non-series collection gets added as a series every year or two. They are only connected thematically.

It's actually a different set of book than the ones I thought. I am not familiar with these.

Edit: Apparently there are cross-over characters.
