I am so glad I got caught up before the book club ended. I really felt like they stepped up Veronica's inner dialog to her classic sarcastic quips. However, I was expecting more Logan - anyone else feel like we didn't get all we were promised? Not enough Weevil either IMO

I don't feel like Logan is strangely lacking. He was never particularly integrated into Veronica's life (except for maybe 2 episodes of S3), so it would have felt weird to me if he was paling around with her investigating. Keith and Weevil run into Marcia Langdon.
I'm still glad someone is giving Lamb a run for his money. But...it is seriously bugging me what is up with Marcia! Anyone else? Anyone have a theory?

Mari and Penni - I think it would be different for Logan to help on a case but Logan is different so I think it could work. I am thinking that the Logan scenes have just been too easy this time around

Sounds like he got in trouble for something. Jail time or something related to abuse somehow. That's the only time I've seen custody agreements like that!
If Logan helped solved a case that got Mac or Wallace or Weevil free, the gang would have to take him back into the fold.

I'm not sure about that last part...would a victim marry him and have another one of his kids? Maybe in a case of extreme mental abuse...and if his ex-wife knows something, now that she has sole custody what stops her from going to the police now? So rhat their children won't know their dad is a criminal? Wouldn't it be better to keep them safe?

Asking Lamb for help? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
My guess is that the wife has suspicions but no concrete evidence. If she had a good lawyer and could prove he has a temper maybe that is how she got sole custody
