Speaking of Del and Celia, did you see their romance coming? Your thoughts about them as a couple?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments I like them as a couple. I didn't see a long term relationship at first, but I changed my mind by the end of the story. Celia is good for Del. They have a lot in common. They are both used to working long hours, which helps.

Also, I like how Faz encouraged Del to pursue Celia. He saw something about Celia that would be good for Del.

I loved when he said, "I'm just saying it would be nice if every once in a while you came to the house with someone Vera can talk to."

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I like them too. At first I thought Celia was someone that Del could talk to about his niece and the pain the family is going through. But it was apparent there was more to their relationship.

I love them together! I thought it was obvious the author was setting them up early on just from conversations both had with others about their single status, etc. I love that Del decided to lose weight whether for himself or for Celia and that he was teased about it. I love his nephews teasing him about Celia too!

Nope, didn’t see that romance coming. But, as the story progressed, their personalities seemed to compliment each other and their ease with each other was nice to see. Go Del!

~Melissa~ | 429 comments I was surprised by the romance between these two. I did enjoy it though once it got going. They were sweet together. I loved that his nephews teased him about losing weight. I thought it hilarious that Kinz' wife decided to put him on a diet post surgery after a visit from Del, lol.

I’d forgotten about that!
