Initially I didn't like her even though she was a formidable opponent for Tracy. The more the story progressed, it was obvious that people were out to get her. By the end of the story, I was glad that she would be back.
I didn't like her at first. It felt like she wanted to ensure that the Navy got jurisdiction over the trial. As the story went along, we got her point-of-view and it seemed that she had been set up to take the fall for the missing video tape. At that point I started liking the way she was handling herself.
My immediate reaction was negative. I thought this was going to be a court battle where she would find loopholes to get Laszlo off. I didn’t have the stomach for that. I remember pausing the audiobook for a bit because I thought I knew what was coming. Leah seemed a formidable opponent.
My impressions of her definitely changed as the story progressed. She was just doing her job and wasn’t looking for sleazy angles.

She was definitely tough and you got a lone wolf vibe from her. It was interesting watching her first scene with Tracy. I didn't really like her since she would be defending who I figured was guilty but, you knew she was going to do her job to the best of her ability.
