Book add before Amazon release

Hello, I had just registered my first book's ISBN in the Nielsen database. I hadn't already published the book on the KDP Platform. Can the book be added to Goodreads before it is published on Amazon? And if yes, can they be linked later? Thank you

I think you are asking how to set the default edition that comes up on your page. Here are the directions:
