There comes a point where Alyssa is charged with bringing Sam in and he knows it. They begin a cycle of point/counterpoint in each trying to get their way…Sam searching for Mary Lou and Alyssa trying to follow orders. Trust seemed to be tossed aside. Your thoughts about the whole situation?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I loved this little game they played. The thing is, they both knew how the other was going to react. Alyssa loves her job and will follow orders. Sam being Sam had to find his daughter and Mary Lou. It took Max lying to Alyssa to make her want to help Sam, but Sam didn't believe she would put everything on the line for him. In the final scene, before joining forces, when Alyssa and Sam had their little fight took a lot of courage.

As frustrating as this back and forth was, it was something they had to go through to rebuild that trust in each other. There were times I didn’t know who to believe!

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments While I enjoy Sam and Alyssa, they deliberately push each other's buttons. They seem to thrive on misunderstandings and nasty jibes. It gets old after a while.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments These two really haven't spent much time together, but they know intuitively what the other is thinking and how they will react. I loved when Alyssa handcuffed Sam to the car and came back to find him gone. And when she realizes he could have done that when they were cuffed together before - priceless.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments Lauren, misunderstandings like this often get old for me too. For some reason, Sam and Alyssa entertained me. I kept thinking, "How is Sam going to thwart Alyssa this time?" or "How will Alyssa counterattack?" It made me laugh.

Yes, I enjoyed them too. There were times, however, when I just wanted them to sit down and have a proper conversation without the sniping.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments Good point. They did need an honest conversation.
