King is a bit of chameleon. He is an old fashioned lawman in some ways, always thinking the perpetrator is guilty and not always going to the nth degree in researching all the facts. But he is quite gentlemanly with Lance's Mum. Not sure what to make of him at this point. One thing I thought was strange, throwing the book at the teen because he received an email. And the fact that if he had opened it he would have been complicit in child porn. What happened if he had just opened it innocently not knowing what was in it? That could happen to anyone. I wasn't sure if this was a bit far fetched or US law.
I agree Lisa - a person has no control over what someone else emails them. Depending on what is in the subject line you could certainly open something innocently. Granted over the years and all the weird emails that have popped up on my personal and work email - I tend to not open anything that looks off.
I agree about Sheriff King too - he's definitely a bit of a chameleon. A total dick one minute and gentlemanly the next.
